Disc filter
The disc filter is a device that utilizes the principle of filtration for material separation
Classification:
Key words: casting and forging
Sales Hotline:
The disc filter is a device that uses the principle of filtration for material separation, mainly used for solid-liquid separation. Its core component is a stack of plastic filter discs, which have specially designed grooves or edges. The grooves or edges on adjacent filter discs form channels of a certain size, intercepting suspended solids larger than the channel size, achieving a filtering effect.
Working Principle
The disc filter is composed of parallel filtering units, each consisting of annular reinforced plastic filter discs with grooves or edges. During filtration, wastewater enters from the outside, and solid materials are retained by the grooves and edges on adjacent filter discs; during backwashing, water flows from the inside of the annular filter discs to the outside, washing away the retained impurities on the filter discs, which are then discharged through the drainage outlet.
Structural Composition
The disc filter mainly consists of a tank body, main shaft, filter discs, distribution valve, stripping device, flushing device, washing device, transmission device, and discharge device. Its core component is a stack of plastic filter discs, which have specially designed grooves or edges. The grooves or edges on adjacent filter discs form channels of a certain size, enabling filtration and backwashing functions.
Application Scenarios
The disc filter is widely used in various industrial fields, including metallurgy, light industry, and national defense. It is particularly suitable for processing white water from paper machines, using vacuum as the filtration power to recover fibers and fillers. In addition, the disc filter also has important applications in the environmental protection field, efficiently separating solid particles from liquids.
